These wagon wheels have hubs that are bolted together, two -piece cast metal.

They are made of solid steam bent hickory with a 1/8" forge shrunk steel rim.

The wagon wheel is 1" wide, with a 1/2" hub hole. (The hub is 2 1/2"wide.) They can be used for light duty.

(NOTE: If getting rubber tires add 2" to the diameter because the rubber tire is 1" thick. )

Amish Sealed Bearing Carriage/Buggy Wheels with Axles

The Hub measures 5" side to side and has a 4 3/4" diameter

STUBBY AXLES are availble as well as full length axles.

These buggy wheels come with 2 sealed bearings in the metal hub - (1 sealed bearing on the inside of the wagon wheel hub and 1 on the outside).

Their hub hole has a 3/4" inside diameter.

AMISH CARRIAGE, BUGGY WHEELS

These carriage wheels are what the Amish use , and come in 3 sizes. They are made of hickory and are fully functional and can be used on the road.

They have metal hubs, and come with bearings, (2 bearings - 1 for the inside and 1 for the outside of the hub).

Measurements are: 1 1/4" wide rim/tire 1" tapered to 3/4" hub hole for the axle 7 1/2" wide hub - (side to side) 5 1/4" hub diameter They come with a 3/8" steel tire or with a flat rubber tire over the steel.

(NOTE: Add approx. 2" to the diameter of the wheel if it has a rubber tire.)
